The PennSuburban Chamber of Commerce, formerly the North Penn Chamber of Commerce, is committed to improving the general welfare and prosperity of the region. As a community-centric organization, the Chamber has established a Foundation to support our philanthropic mission.
Foundation Annual Scholarship Guidelines
Award Amount $500 per candidate
Qualifications
A resident of the North Penn or Souderton School Districts and a graduating member of the senior class with an academic focus on business. Preference shall be given to students who intend to pursue a college major in business.
Ranking Criteria: Competitive ranking score calculated using the formula:
Class Ranking 25%
Community Service 25%
Financial Need 25%
Extracurricular Involvement 25%

Jeffery Wright, Jr., Father - Jeff Wright, Sr., and Step Mother, Marianne Vargo-Wright
Prior to entering Souderton High School, Jeff, Jr. attended Penn View Christian School. He was an honor roll student at Souderton and involved in many activities – including the Link Crew, Student Government, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and member of Souderton Area Baseball and Softball League. Community service included work with the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Boys and Girls Club, and Charter Counts Coalition. “This is a tremendous honor to be recognized for such a prestigious award. I’m very grateful for the opportunities that I was given in High School and the choices I made to reach new heights every day. My goals in life have always been set around the mindset of achieving more and making my way up the ladder of success. This scholarship has given me the ability to take one more step towards my dream of becoming the most successful person I possibly can.”
Jeffery will be attending Pennsylvania State University where he plans to pursue a major in the study of International Business.
